ML Broadsheet #1:
The Liberum Dory

A broadsheet designed and distributed via wheat paste on construction fences around Brooklyn in 2007/2008 as an invitation to build boats out of the detritus of the Gowanus neighborhood rezoning.  This broadsheet is also a culmination of our historic research into waterborne squatters in New York City and plans to build a Liberum Dory and rowing oar from easy-to-source materials (plywood, housepaint, PL construction adhesive, screws).

Designed for the exhibition “Off the Grid” (curated by Galen Joseph-Hunter and Tianna Kennedy) at the Neuberger Museum/SUNY Purchase in 2008.
